If you have ever lost your child, you will remember the panic that you felt until you found them. There are 1.3 million children reported lost or missing each year. Many times that are not reported, but lost for minutes - hours at malls, theme parks, zoos, stadiums, etc.

Two year old children are the most frequently lost . Most toddlers cannot identify who they are or who their parent’s are.

Chomp realizes that as adults we carry ID; we ID our pets and we must give the same safety tool to our children. It is Chomp’s goal that none of the children we know and love ever get lost and so we are giving away our “Chomp The Investi”gator” ID kits.

Each kit includes two velcro ‘ID ME’ bands that can be attached to the child’s shoelaces, backpacks, sport bags, anything that they carry or possibly wear. On smaller children Chomp does recommend attaching the bands around the shoe laces as small children rarely carry bags.

Inside each of the ID bands is a water resistant up to date information label detailing contact information in the case of emergencies. There is also a unique ID number, given to you at the Snodgrass-King offices, as well as our contact information. At our offices we have further contact information for the child’s parents and relatives and in the event the person who has found the child is unable to contact the parents, they can contact us and we will use the extra information we have to
track either the parents or the chosen extra emergency contacts. We are unable to take the child in, but we will have a lot more choices and will do everything we can, 24 hours a day to help get the child safely home.

The kit also contains a photo ID information card, which is kept with the parent, ready to hand to the police, in the event a child does go missing. The kits come in fun, kid-friendly colors, which also happen to be Chomp’s favorite colors too - Pink, Blue, Lime Green and Orange.

All personal information is protected inside the ID ME band, so no need to worry about a stranger calling out your child’s name. If traveling, use an extra ID ME band to provide local information with hotel, resort numbers and cell phone numbers.

A completed ID ME kit can help expedite the return of a missing child. Chomp urges parents to maintain updated information on both the kits and at our offices.If you change any of your contact information, simply call or email us and we will update the child’s file.
