Pediatric Dentists


Dr. David Snodgrass, has practiced dentistry in Nashville since 1987. Receiving his DDS degree from the University of Tennessee in 1984 and his certificate in pediatric dentistry from the Children’s Hospital Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1986, he is currently a part-time assistant clinical professor of pediatric dentistry at Vanderbilt University.

Having published numerous articles on growth and development in several orthodontic and pediatric dental journals, Dr. Snodgrass is a recognized lecturer and mentor to many orthodontic study clubs in the southeastern United States. His awards include the Achievement, Fellowship, and Diplomat Awards from the American Orthodontic Society and the International Association of Orthodontics. He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Orthodontic Society, the International Association of Orthodontics, and the Tennessee Dental Association. He, his wife Melody and their children reside in Brentwood.

 

 

 

 
  Dr. John T. King, a Franklin native, received his Doctor of Medical Dentistry degree from the University of Louisville in 1996. In 1998, he became certified in pediatric dentristy after studying at St. Chrisopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia, PA He followed in his father’s footsteps, Dr. William C. King, in achieving Diplomate Board Certification with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry in February of 2000. He and his wife, Victoria, have two children, Eli and Sam.

 

  

 

 

 

  

 

Dr. Bryan Byrnside  A native of Charleston, SC, Dr. Bryan Byrnside received a Bachelor of Arts from Emory University (Atlanta, GA) majoring in History and German Studies. After graduation from college in 1998 he returned to his hometown of Charleston where he attended the Medical University of South Carolina College of Dental Medicine. During the course of his 4 years of dental training he came to realize and appreciated the professional and personal rewards that come with treating children and special needs patients. He completed his pediatric specialty training at Boston University Medical Center. Upon completion of his residency in pediatric dentistry, Dr. Byrnside moved to the Nashville area. He has been an associate dentist with the Snodgrass-King practice since 2005. Dr. Byrnside is a member of the American Dental Association, Tennessee Dental Association, Nashville Dental Society, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and American Academy of Pediatrics. He currently is in the process of becoming board certified in pediatric dentistry.

 

 

Dr. Jennifer House  Dr. Jennifer House grew up in northwest Mississippi and attended dental school at the University of Mississippi, receiving her DMD degree in 2004. While in dental school Dr. House grew to love working in the pediatric clinic. After dental school, she went on to specialize in pediatric dentistry at Boston University where she graduated in 2006. Dr. House has been with Snodgrass-King since graduating from residency and primarily works in our Hermitage office. Professional memberships include the American Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Tennessee Dental Association and the Nashville Dental Society. Dr. House is also currently in the process of becoming board certified in pediatric dentistry. In her spare time, Dr. House enjoys cheering for the Boston Red Sox and spending time with her dog, Zeke.
