Dr. David Snodgrass – Pediatrics
Dr. David Snodgrass is a Pediatric Dental Specialist trained in a hospital setting. He received his DDS degree from the University of Tennessee in 1984, certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from the Children’s Hospital Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1986 and has been practicing pediatric dentistry in Nashville since 1987. He is also a part-time assistant clinical professor of pediatric dentistry at Vanderbilt University and Meharry Medical College, School of Dentistry.
Having authored eight publications in five different National and International orthodontic and pediatric journals (see below), Dr. Snodgrass is a recognized lecturer and mentor to orthodontic study clubs all over the United States. He is best known for the “Snodgrass Appliance” a unique idea that combined the attributes of the Haas Palatal Expander with the attributes of Dr. Hilger’s Pendulum appliance. His awards include the Achievement, Fellowship and Diplomat Awards from the American Orthodontic Society and the International Association of Orthodontics. He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Orthodontic Society, the International Association of Orthodontics and the Tennessee Dental Association. Doctor Snodgrass has treated over 100,000 patients in the middle Tennessee area including over 3,500 cases of physically handicapped and medically compromised children under general anesthesia in out-patient surgery facilities and major hospitals including, Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital, Centennial and Summit.
He and his wife Melody have 3 children and live in the Nashville area. They are involved with many charitable organizations including Danita’s Children in Quanaminthe, Haiti where they built, equipped, supplied and staffed a medical/dental/eye clinic for Danita’s Children, Hope for Haiti, 501c3 charitable foundation in 2008. Twice a year Dr. Snodgrass takes a team of 15-20 staff members to Haiti to staff the dental clinic. They also take their dental teams to Monkey Jungle in Sosua, Dominican Republic, 501c3 charitable foundation, the Haitian and Dominican Assistance Corporation where they equip and supply a free dental clinic.
Dr. Allen Anderson – Orthodontics
Dr. Anderson received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry in 2006 where he graduated Summa Cum Laude and received the Xi Psi Phi award for having the highest scholastic average for all four years of dental school. After graduation, Dr. Anderson started his Orthodontic Residency at UT where he received a Certificate for the Advanced Education Program in Orthodontics and a post-doctoral Master of Dental Science (MDS) degree for Orthodontics in 2010. Dr. Anderson is a native Nashvillian who enjoys hiking and the outdoors, gardening and working on his family farm, and reading a good book.
Dr. Quantez Freeman – Pediatrics
Dr. Freeman was raised in Huntsville, AL and completed his undergraduate studies at Morehouse College in Atlanta, GA. After teaching in Boston, he began his journey for his passion at the Indiana University School of Dentistry. While practicing as a general dentist after dental school, Dr. Freeman’s desire to work with children grew immensely and led him to pursue a residency in pediatric dentistry at Howard University.
Dr. Freeman is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry (ABPD); in addition, he is an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA), and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD). He’s passionate about building a fun friendly first experience with kids and educating both children and parents about the importance of oral health.
In his spare time, he enjoys playing volleyball, traveling, different restaurants and entertaining his miniature schnauzer Wesley.
Dr. Felix Vincent – Pediatrics
Dr. Vincent graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Boston University. He went on to obtain a Masters in Medical Sciences from Boston University School of Medicine. Dr. Felix then chose to pursue a career in Dentistry. He attended the Meharry School of Dentistry in Nashville followed by a Pediatric Dental residency at Howard University in Washington, DC. Dr. Felix is an active member of the American Dental Association and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Felix is originally from Port Harcourt, Nigeria, but spent most of his childhood in East Lyme, Connecticut. He met his wife, Dr. Brittany Vincent, while in dental school and they now live in Brentwood, TN. with their daughters, Brooke, Olivia, and Bianca, and dog, Mr. Darcy.
In his free time, Dr. Felix enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing soccer, traveling, spoiling his dog, and cheering on the New England Patriots. Dr. Felix loves being a Pediatric Dentist because he loves working with children.
Dr. Mary George – Adults
Dr. Mary George earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) Degree from Case Western Reserve School of Dental Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. After graduation, Dr. George started her Residency at University Hospitals of Cleveland where she received a Certificate for the Advanced Education Program in General Dentistry. In her spare time, Dr. George enjoys working out, boating, water skiing, reading and traveling.
FUN FACT: Dr. George served active duty military members at the Pentagon.
