CHOOSING THE RIGHT ORTHODONTIST
We encourage your desire to seek the best possible orthodontic care for yourself and your loved ones. Orthodontic treatment is a long-term relationship between your family, the doctor, and the entire orthodontic team. It is important to match yourself to a practice that offers quality clinical care and attentive customer service. Considering all of these things, you should be able to find a practice where you feel completely comfortable.
For many of our new patients, finding the right orthodontist team is a new experience. These important considerations help you choose an orthodontist and make the best investment in your smile.
IS THE DOCTOR AN ORTHODONTIC SPECIALIST?
Yes! Each orthodontic specialist at Snodgrass-King has 2-3 years of post-graduate training as a part of their orthodontic degree. In fact, both of our general orthodontists are members of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontists.
Doctors Miriam Hall and Heidi Sottek also spent years in residency training as a part of their individual education programs. They have extensive experience, professional certifications, and love living in the Nashville area.
Dr. Hall was even recognized in 2017 as one of Nashville’s Top Orthodontists.
WHY CHOOSE SNODGRASS-KING ORTHODONTICS?
Snodgrass-King is committed to staying abreast of the most current research in orthodontics. The practice of orthodontics is constantly changing with new and improved materials and techniques. As a result, it is essential for our whole team to regularly attend continuing education meetings.
We invest in ourselves because from the moment you contact us for your first appointment, we make your experience about customer satisfaction.
For us, it’s about more than just making sure your braces work and straightening crooked teeth. In fact, our goal is to make sure you achieve the best smile with the best dental care. We want you to leave our office knowing you received the best orthodontic care anywhere in and around Music City.
DOES THE OFFICE COMPLETE A COMPUTERIZED CEPHALOMETRIC ANALYSIS OF THE X-RAYS?
A state-of-the-art diagnostic process is essential to understanding the jaw mechanics of each patient and provide excellent results.
At Snodgrass-King, we use the Dolphin Imaging Program as a part of our treatment process. This program is a digital cephalometric program that helps us analyze a patient’s jaw relationships. As a result, these high-definition images allow us to effectively predict growth potentials and treatment outcomes.
WHAT DOES YOUR INVESTMENT INCLUDE?
Usually, your treatment fee includes all charges quoted at your first examination. Your orthodontic treatment fee includes your complete treatment, as well as the following:
- Initial Records
- X-Rays
- Dental Models
- Progress Records During Treatment
- Final Records
After your braces are removed, you will receive one set of removable retainers. During the retention period, you will also receive periodic visits to make sure your retainers are working properly. These visits will help you know that you are wearing a retainer properly.
Some orthodontists offer another of the two types of retainers—permanent retainers. These are permanent orthodontic devices fixed in your mouth and usually are placed along the bottom teeth.
