Dr. Robin Hobbs – Pediatrics

Dr. Robin Hobbs was born and raised in Houston, Texas. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Prairie View A&M University in 2005 and her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Meharry Medical College in 2010. Dr. Hobbs then went on to complete her certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in June of 2012. Professional memberships include the American Dental Association, Tennessee Dental Association, and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. In her spare time she enjoys painting, traveling and going to sporting events.

Dr. Hobbs was recognized as one of Nashville Lifestyles’ Top Pediatric Dentists 2017 and one of Nashville’s 25 Most Beautiful People in 2018.

Dr. Heidi Sottek – Orthodontics

Dr. Heidi Sottek attended the University of Michigan Dental School earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree in 2003. Upon completion Dr. Heidi entered the United States Air Force as a recipient of the Health Professions Scholarship Program (HPSP). She earned the rank of Major and served proudly for nine years.

Prior to her dedication in the field of Orthodontics she served four years as a general dentist. During which time Dr. Heidi received postgraduate training in Advanced Education in General Dentistry. Her pursuit of dental excellence led to many honors including the Air Force Material Command Junior Dental Officer of the Year Award and 72nd Air Base Wing Company Grade Officer of the Year Award.

In 2009, Dr. Heidi completed her Post-Doctoral training at the Tri-Service Orthodontic Residency Program at Wilford Hall, Lackland AFB, Texas obtaining her specialty certificate in Orthodontics. She continued to be recognized with two 99th Dental Squadron Field Grade Officer of the Quarter awards.

Dr. Heidi joined the SnodgrassKing family in 2012. She is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Southern Association of Orthodontists, Tennessee Orthodontic Association and the American Dental Association.

Dr. Heidi, her husband Tom and their daughters, Sydney, Sophia and Tyler call Mt. Juliet home and their children attend Rutland Elementary. The Sottek Family enjoy all types of sports, hiking, and cooking. When not at work, Dr. Sottek spends most of her spare time at soccer practices, soccer games, and volunteering for the PTO.

Dr. Ian Mort – Adults

Dr. Ian Mort of Rochester, New York, attended State University of New York at Geneseo in Geneseo, NY. He graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. in Biology. He continued his education at the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in Buffalo, NY and completed his General Practice Residency at the University of Colorado. Dr. Mort calls Nashville home and is fortunate to live close to his older brother, an oral surgeon in the Nashville area, and his parents who migrated here from New York. He enjoys helping adults improve their smile and overall oral health, which he believes improves their physical and emotional health, and well-being. Dr. Mort believes everyone deserves the opportunity to have good oral health which is why he volunteers each month at Interfaith Dental, a dental clinic that helps the underserved in the Middle Tennessee area. In his free time, Dr. Mort loves hanging out with his dogs, King Louie and Duchess! He also loves watching or playing golf, soccer, football, basketball, and hockey.
