Dr. Nisha Waits was born in Greensboro, NC and grew up in Destin, FL. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Science from Florida State University and was awarded her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine.
Before joining the Snodgrass-King family, Dr. Waits worked in private practice in Destin, FL. She and her husband fell in love with Nashville while her husband attended Vanderbilt University for graduate school, and they are excited to be back and settle down for good. In her free time, she enjoys fitness, cooking, spending time at the lake, and being active in her church. Professionally, Dr. Waits values the trust established with each patient gained through listening to their individual needs so that she can deliver the highest quality of care in a compassionate, painless environment.
Dr. Grace Karem graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2013 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology. She attended dental school at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry and graduated in 2017. She received her certification in moderate conscious sedation from the University of Alabama in 2018.
Dr. Karem was a member of the Alpha Phi Omega Service Fraternity from 2010-2013 where she gained over 450 hours in community service. She is passionate about volunteering and has spent much of her time speaking in schools educating students on the importance of brushing and flossing. She also, performs dental procedures for the underserved at the Interfaith Dental Clinic. She and her husband live in Nashville, TN.
Dr. Jason Roedig grew up in a small town in Northern Kentucky called Bellevue. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Centre College in Danville, KY, where he also played tennis and was on the student-athlete academic honor roll. Dr. Jason attended the University Of Kentucky College Of Dentistry, graduating in 2010 with high distinction and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society.
During his dental school training, Dr. Jason was published in the Journal of American Dental Association for his research entitled “Interference of Cardiac Pacemaker and Implantable Cardioverter-Defibrillator Activity During Electronic Dental Device Use.” He continued at the University of Kentucky for his Post-Doctoral Orthodontic Residency and graduated with a Masters in Science in Orthodontics in 2013. His Masters research was published in the Journal of Clinical Sleep Medicine entitled “Comparison of BMI, AHI, and Apolipoprotein E ε4 (APOE-ε4) Alleles Among Sleep Apnea Patients With Different Skeletal Classifications.”
Dr. Jason joined the SnodgrassKing family in 2013. He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Southern Association of Orthodontists, Tennessee Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, and the Tennessee Dental Association. For leisure he enjoys being outdoors, sports, helping out with his aunt’s non-profit breast cancer foundation called Chicks & Chucks, Inc. and spending time with family and friends. He is an avid Kentucky Wildcat fan.
