Dr. Snodgrass’ experience and Dr. King’s vitality first introduced the Greater Nashville area to a new standard of quality dental care in 1997. Shortly after, they expanded to Franklin, Tennessee, and three additional offices in Middle Tennessee. Today, Snodgrass-King continues to operate with the compassion and dedication that every patient cherishes.

Dr. David Snodgrass is a Pediatric Dental Specialist trained in a hospital setting. He received his DDS degree from the University of Tennessee in 1984, certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from the Children’s Hospital Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio, in 1986, and began his pediatric dentistry practice in Nashville in 1987. He is also a part-time assistant clinical professor of pediatric dentistry at Vanderbilt University and Meharry Medical College, School of Dentistry.
Dr. Snodgrass has treated over 100,000 patients in the middle Tennessee area, including over 3,500 cases of physically handicapped and medically compromised children.

Dr. John T. King, a Franklin native, received his Doctor of Medical Dentistry degree from the University of Louisville in 1996. In 1998, he became certified in pediatric dentistry after studying at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia, PA. He followed in his father’s footsteps, Dr. William C. King, in achieving Diplomat Board Certification with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry in February of 2000. Currently, Dr. King is a part-time clinical professor of Pediatric Dentistry at Vanderbilt University and an adjunct professor in General Dentistry at the University of Louisville, School of Dentistry.

Dr. Patrick Knoell
Dr. Patrick Knoell is a native Californian who served in the U.S. Navy and received multiple commendations for actions during Desert Shield/Storm in the Iraq War in 1991. After an honorable discharge, he obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Molecular Cell biology from the University of California, Berkeley, in 2000; his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of California, San Francisco, in 2011; and his Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from Louisiana State University Health Science Center in 2013.
Dr. Quantez Freeman
Dr. Freeman completed his undergraduate studies at Morehouse College in Atlanta, GA. After teaching in Boston, he enrolled at the Indiana University School of Dentistry.
While practicing as a general dentist after dental school, Dr. Freeman’s desire to work with children grew immensely. It led him to pursue a residency in pediatric dentistry at Howard University. Pediatric Dentistry allows him to have lots of fun at work, as children can bring unexpected joy on some of the most challenging days.
Dr. Horton Li
Dr. Horton Li is originally from Xi’an, China. He moved to South Florida at 16 by himself on a scholarship. After attending college and dental school in Kentucky, he chose to live in Tennessee, where he found his true passion for treating children. He went back to residency to specialize in pediatric dentistry.
Dr. Felix Vincent
Dr. Felix Vincent is originally from Port Harcourt, Nigeria. He graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Boston University. He went on to obtain a Masters in Medical Sciences from Boston University School of Medicine. Dr. Felix attended the Meharry School of Dentistry and his residency at Howard University. Dr. Felix lives being a Pediatric Dentist because he loves working with children.

Dr. Yeganeh Jewell
Dr. Yeganeh Jewell relocated to Nashville after practicing in Northern Nevada for several years. She was raised in Southern California and earned her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from UCLA. She followed her dream of becoming a dentist by attending Loma Linda University and completing her Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics Residency. At LLU, she was awarded the “Omicron Kappa Upsilon Award” for academic and clinical excellence!
Dr. Allen Anderson
Dr. Anderson received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry in 2006 where he graduated Summa Cum Laude and received the Xi Psi Phi award for having the highest scholastic average for all four years of dental school. After graduation, Dr. Anderson started his Orthodontic Residency at UT where he received a Certificate for the Advanced Education Program in Orthodontics and a post-doctoral Master of Dental Science (MDS) degree for Orthodontics in 2010. Dr. Anderson is a native Nashvillian who enjoys hiking and the outdoors, gardening and working on his family farm, and reading a good book.
Dr. Jillian Nyquist
Dr. Jillian Nyquist is originally from Paducah, KY. She obtained her BS in Biology from the University of Kentucky in 2009, where she stayed to earn her dental degree at UK College of Dentistry in 2013. She completed her postgraduate orthodontic training at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill as an Andrew McArthur Brooks Fellow, where she received her Certificate in Orthodontics and MS degree in 2016. Dr. Nyquist is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontists, a certifying body that honors orthodontists with only the highest standards of orthodontic care.
Dr. Vincent Chiappone
Dr. Chiappone joins us with 30 years of patient care experience. He attended Dental School in New York at Columbia University, and Orthodontic Residency at the University of the Pacific in California. Dr. C answered his life-long calling to continue his family history of military service and he joined the Dental Corps in the Air Force Reserves. During his 12 years of military service, he deployed to Africa, Central America, Europe and remote Alaska. He eventually gained a command position as the Chief of Dental Services at March Air Reserve Base. His military decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal, the Air Force Commendation and Achievement Medals, the Army Achievement Medal, and the Humanitarian Service Medal.

Dr. Matthew Smith
Dr. Matthew Smith grew up in Detroit, MI. He started his career in music at the Indiana University Jacob’s School of Music, where he obtained his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Classical Guitar Performance. While maintaining an active performing and rigorous teaching schedule, he pursued a career in dental medicine and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Meharry Medical College in Nashville.
Dr. Matthew Bidwell
Dr. Matthew Bidwell was born and raised in Murfreesboro, TN. He received his B.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He continued his education at Meharry Medical College in Nashville, where he earned his Dental degree.
Dr. Krystal Lewis
Dr. Krystal Lewis was raised in Chicago, IL. She received her B.S. Howard University. She continued her education at Meharry Medical College in Nashville, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. She followed in her family’s footsteps with her Grandfather and Great Uncle graduated from Meharry Medical College.
Dr. Mary George
Dr. Mary George earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) Degree from Case Western Reserve School of Dental Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. After graduation, Dr. George started her Residency at University Hospitals of Cleveland where she received a Certificate for the Advanced Education Program in General Dentistry. In her spare time, Dr. George enjoys working out, boating, water skiing, reading and traveling.
Dr. Essence Campbell
Originally from Huntsville, Alabama, Dr. Campbell moved to Brentwood, Tennessee, in 2010, where she completed high school. She then attended Lipscomb University from 2013 to 2017, earning her degree in biology. Her passion for health led her to Meharry Medical College, where she completed a master’s program in public health before pursuing her dental education from 2018 to 2022.
