MEET THE DOCTORS – PEDIATRICS

Dr. David Snodgrass

Dr. David Snodgrass is a Pediatric Dental Specialist trained in a hospital setting. He received his DDS degree from the University of Tennessee in 1984, certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from the Children’s Hospital Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1986 and has been practicing pediatric dentistry in Nashville since 1987. He is also a part-time assistant clinical professor of pediatric dentistry at Vanderbilt University and Meharry Medical College, School of Dentistry.

Dr. John T. King

Dr. John T. King, a Franklin native, received his Doctor of Medical Dentistry degree from the University of Louisville in 1996. In 1998, he became certified in pediatric dentistry after studying at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia, PA. He followed in his father’s footsteps, Dr. William C. King, in achieving Diplomat Board Certification with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry in February of 2000. He was named fellow in the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry in 2017 and was the recipient of the Nashville Lifestyles’ Top Dentist awards of 2016-2020.

Dr. Patrick Knoell

Dr. Patrick Knoell is a native Californian who served in the US Navy receiving multiple commendations for actions during Desert Shield/Storm in the Iraq War in 1991. After an honorable discharge, he obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Molecular Cell biology from the University of California, Berkeley in 2000; his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of California, San Francisco in 2011; and his Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from Louisiana State University Health Science Center in 2013. Dr. Knoell and his wife live in the Columbia area with their daughter and 3 dogs. He loves to golf but, isn’t very good at it! However, he is good at Brazilian Jujitsu and trains under Cesar Gracie! He sounds like a tough guy but, he’s really a lot of fun so, don’t be surprised if you see him making balloon animals at your next appointment!

Dr. Quantez Freeman

Dr. Freeman completed his undergraduate studies at Morehouse College in Atlanta, GA. After teaching in Boston, he began his journey for his passion at the Indiana University School of Dentistry.

While practicing as a general dentist after dental school, Dr. Freeman’s desire to work with children grew immensely and led him to pursue a residency in pediatric dentistry at Howard University. He enjoys Pediatric Dentistry as it allow him to have lots of fun at work, as children truly do say the darnedest things and can bring unexpected joy on some of the most challenging days.

In his spare time, he enjoys playing volleyball, traveling, trying new restaurants and entertaining his dog, Wesley.

Dr. Horton Li

Dr. Horton Li is originally from Xi’an, China. He moved to South Florida at the age of 16 from China by himself on a scholarship to pursue a better life. After attending college and dental school in Kentucky, he chose to live in the beautiful state of Tennessee. After practicing for a few years in the Nashville area he found his true passion for treating children. He went back to residency to specialize in pediatric dentistry.

Dr. Horton lives in Nashville with his wife, a baby daughter, and a rescued bichon frise named Russell. When not in the office, he enjoys spending time with family, cooking, traveling, and making cocktails for friends.  Fun fact: Dr. Horton was a champion at a spoonbread eating contest in Kentucky while in college!
