What to Expect At Your Child’s Teeth Cleaning Appointment

Fluoride Treatment D1203 Once every 6 months Reduces risk of cavities by strengthening the enamel ( outer layer of teeth)
Child Cleaning D1120 Once every 6 months Remove plaque and calculus from the teeth as well as to assess and help maintain oral health
Adult Cleaning D1110 Once every 6 months Remove plaque and calculus from the teeth as well as to assess and help maintain oral health
2 Bitewing X-Rays D0272 Once every 12 months / Cavity Prone patients once every 6 months Allows the dentist to assess for cavities
4 Bitewing X-Rays D0274 Once every 12 months / Cavity Prone patients once every 6 months Allows the dentist to assess for cavities
Panorex D0330 Once Every 36 months To assess growth and development. To determine if patient has any missing or extra teeth. To evaluate for cysts and tumors within the jaw bones.
