Giving Back to Our Troops
As part of the Halloween celebration, SnodgrassKing has organized a buy back program that is destined to make a positive impact in Spring Hill schools and bring a smile to a service member’s face. Last year, eight Wilson County schools participated and competed in Mt. Juliet’s Treats for Troops. With their help, we shipped over 2000 pounds of candy to our troops overseas! In return, SnodgrassKing donated a total of $4000 to the eight participating elementary schools. This year we have expanded the Treats for Troops program into Spring Hill, and the following schools are competing:
Your School Has a Chance To Win Big
For your school to win, save all of your unwanted Halloween candy and bring it to the SnodgrassKing – Spring Hill office on Monday, November 2nd from 4:30pm-7:30pm. Your student will come home with a Treats for Troops bag the week of Halloween. You may use this bag to help you transfer all of your unwanted candy to the SnodgrassKing office. Please note: In order for your candy to be counted, you must bring it to SnodgrassKing’s Spring Hill office. Candy turned in at the school will not be counted.
Once all candy has been weighed, we will announce the winners! Each school has the chance to win $250 up to $1000, all for just donating candy! Students will not receive individual cash for their candy; but, they will be entered into a raffle for a chance to win door prizes throughout the night. All money raised will go to the school. At the end of the week, the donated treats will be shipped overseas to our troops.
So come, show your school spirit and donate your candy!Little Caesar’s Pizza will be provided for everyone in attendance! We hope you will join us in this effort to give back to our soldiers overseas, while your school receives some hard earned candy cash!
